Dennis D. Genobles, 64, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, August 15, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. He was the son of Leola Bennett Genobles and the late James Cleveland Genobles.
A graduate of Limestone College with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mr. Genobles was a member of Cudd Memorial Baptist Church and owner of Green's Mobile Home Park. Mr. Genobles was the previous owner of Dennis' Restaurant.
Survivors include his wife, Rene Blackwell Genobles; a step-daughter, Vanessa Dover (Thomas); a step-son, Jonathan Dwight Runciman; a brother, Randall Genobles (Debbie); a granddaughter, Aureliana Dover; and a special pet, "Bo". He was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Genobles.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, August 18, 2014 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Cudd Memorial Baptist Church, 1301 Boiling Springs Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303, conducted by the Rev. Danny Garrett. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
