Mrs. Hattie Thomas, 75, of Trails End Mobile Court, 2000 Johnston Dr., Manitowoc, died Sunday, March 11, at her residence.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. William Plank will officiate with cremation to follow. Burial of the cremains will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mrs. Thomas was born Dec. 25, 1908, as Osseo, Wis., daughter of the late Matt and Emma Lettom Kattestad. She was married to John Thomas, July 30, 1928, at Winona, Minn. He preceded her in death Nov. 12, 1972. Mrs. Thomas worked with her husband at Thomas Paint and Glass from 1949 to 1972. She was a Elks Club Auxiliary Member, a volunteer
worker and member of the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and also a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, (private); three brothers and sisters-in-law, Marvin and Gertrude Kattestad of West Salem, Wis., Ted and Olive Kattestad of Omro, Wis., and John and Marjorie Kattestad of Eau Claire, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Shumaker of Osseo and Mrs. Mabel Balthazor of Eau Claire; two grandsons, private); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, James Thomas.
Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 1 p.m. Wednesday until the time of services. There will be no Tuesday evening visitation. Memorials appreciated to Memorial Hospital.
