Mrs. Amelia R. Tryon, 84, formerly of 703 S. 15th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning at Holy Family Extended Care Facility, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. John Hephner will officiate with burial in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mrs. Tryon, nee Amelia Hoffman, was born Aug. 27, 1891, at Waterville, Minn., daughter of the late Frank and Rose Hoffman. She was educated in Waterville schools and was married to Albert W. Tryon March 27, 1910, at Waterville, where they resided until 1933, when they moved to Manitowoc.
Mr. Tryon preceded her in death in November of 1963. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Harold, of Manitowoc; four daughters, Mrs. Alex (Frances) Karlin, of Denmark, Mrs. Jerry (Florence) Dimmich, of Manitowish Waters, Wis., and Mrs. William (Phyllis) Curtsinger and Mrs. Muriel Stadelman, of Manitowoc, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Three brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday until the time of service. A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday by Father Hephner.
