Acie R. Crews, 80, died November 19 at Methodist Hospice in Jacksonville. A native of Baker County, Mr. Crews had lived in Jacksonville since 1941. He retired after 32 years service with Jacksonville Coach Company. Mr. Crews was a Baptist and a Mason.
Survivors include his wife Erie; Sons Leonard H. and James Buster Crews; daughters June Joseph and Barbara Price; sisters Nona Mae Taylor and Minnie Raulerson; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A daughter, Fennice Johnson, predeceased him.
Funeral services were held November 21 in the chapel of Hardage Giddens funeral Home, Jacksonville, with Rev. Amil Brown officiating. Interment was in Riverside Memorial Park.
