Victor (Vic) Wichman Reimer, age 42, of Hillsbourogh County, Tampa, Fla., died Tuesday, October 31, 1995, at Tampa General Hospital, Tampa, Fla.
Vic was born February 13, 1953, at Joblin, Missouri, son of Margaret Maxey Reimer and the late Herman V. Wichman. Vic made his home in Baxter Springs, Kan., until the age of 14 and then moved to Manitowoc in 1968, where he graduated from Manitowoc Lutheran High School with the class of 1971. He was employed at Northern Laboratories and the Manitowoc County Shop before entering the United States Air Force. He served his tour of duty in Southeast Asia being honorably discharged September 26, 1975, with the rank of Sgt. E-4. Vic was employed with the Tampa Hilsbourogh County as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Monitoring Technician for the last 15 years. Vic enjoyed all sports especially fishing.
Survivors include his fiancee, Dorothy (Dot) Kroneck, 7005 Grand Rapids Ave., Tampa, Fla. 33619; his mother and adopted father, Margaret and Rudolph Reimer, Manitowoc; a brother and his fiancee, Albert Wichman and Virginia Ford, Minneapolis, Minn.; one sister and brother-in-law, Fern and Tony Murray, Baxter Springs, Kan.; adopted brother, David P. Reimer, Ashland; special nieces, Beth (Rick) Shockley, Baxter Springs, Kan.; special nephew, Kipp Murray, Seneca, Mo.; a half-sister, Barbara Boyd and her family, Sterling, Colo.; a step-brother, Richard (Jean) Reimer and his family, Littleton, Colo.; a maternal grandmother, Ada C. Maxey, Willow Spring, Mo. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John C. Maxey, paternal grandparents, Herman and Clara Wichman, favorite uncle, Leonard C. Reimer, and a favorite aunt, Marcella Beraupre.
Cremation services have taken place and a Memorial Service will be provided by Y.A.N.A. at a later date.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with local funeral arrangements.
