Darlene G. Granger, age 78, a Two Rivers resident, died peacefully on Friday, August 15, 2014 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers surrounded by her family.

Darlene was born on September 11, 1935 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Frank E. And Helen R. (Burmeister) Huycke. On May 1, 1954 she married Clarence J. Granger, Jr. He preceded her in death on March 20, 2002. Darlene was a waitress for ten years, a line loader at Hamiltons for 16 years and also worked 4 ½ yrs. for Pick N Save in Two Rivers.

Darlene enjoyed hot air balloons, NASCAR, John Wayne and was an exceptional cook.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law: Charles Granger, Two Rivers; Michael and Cindy Granger, Manitowoc; two daughters: Annette Mayer, Wausaukee; Nancy Granger, Manitowoc; four granddaughters: Misty Quistorf (fiancé Matthew Dertz), Becky (Daniel) Rauens, "Butterfly", Christine Granger, "Toots", and Marsha Granger, "Beans"; four great-grandchildren: Jasmine, Izabella and Alexis Quistorf, Vance John; four sisters-in-law: Joretta Granger, Bernice Miller, Shirley (Mel) Ouradnik, all of Manitowoc, Susan (Daryl) Nohr, IA; two brothers-in-law: Richard Granger, Fond du Lac; John (Jutta) Granger, TN; special friend Rick Edwards "Sonny", Two Rivers and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren and her very special pet "C.G." Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by one daughter: Helen Marie Granger; three brothers; and four sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home of Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be David Heckmann with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from noon until 1:45 p.m.
