Funeral services will be held for Scottie Wayne Middleton, 42, of Lucedale on Thursday, August 14, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Promiseland Assembly of God with visitation Wednesday, August 13 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Interment will be in Middleton Family Cemetery with Rev. Mickey Middleton, Rev. Richie Stringfellow and Rev. Alton Stokes officiating the services.
A former pipefitter in construction, he died August 11. He was born April 28, 1972 in Laurel.
He is survived by his wife Shannon Middleton of Lucedale, daughter Starr Middleton of Lucedale, son Justin Joiner of Lucedale, mother Janie Middleton of Lucedale, sister Brooke Middleton of Lucedale, brother Kevin (Marissa) Middleton of Lucedale, grandmother Vina Middleton of Leakesville, two nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Billy Wayne “Duck” Middleton.
Pallbearers included Jeremy Middleton, Rob Norris, Irvin Brannon, Wayne Tribble, Pat McLeod, Kelvin McLeod, Jeffery Merritt, Jeffrey Middleton and Jonathan Middleton.
