Ronald Eugene “Poor Boy” Hanover was set free from this world on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Integris Baptist Regional Medical Center in Miami, Oklahoma, he was 65.
Poor Boy was born June 22, 1949 to George and Betty (Murphy) Hanover in Danville, Illinois.
He lived the life he wanted to live, traveling where ever he wanted. He bragged he met the Allman Brother’s Band and he was the inspiration for their song Ramblin Man, he worked for himself for years as a tree trimmer.
Poor Boy was retired from the Quapaw Chapter of the Loner’s MC, and it was something he was very proud of.
His family that proceeded in death include his parents, two sisters: Karen Wallace and Georgeanna Hanover.

Poor Boy’s brother’s and friends will gather at noon on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Red I’s in Commerce, Oklahoma and at 1:00 p.m. all his friends and relatives will honor him with a last ride to one of his favorite places Hawg’s Rest in Quapaw, Oklahoma. Following will be a celebration of his life at Red I’s in Commerce.
