NORVAL V. BOWMAN
Norval V. Bowman, 73, former local resident and for many years conductor on the interurban line through this city, died at 9 p.m. Monday at the St. Joseph's hospital, Fort Wayne, where he had been taken following a stroke a week ago at his home, 1209 Scott Avenue, in that city.
Mr. Bowman was born in Brown County, Ohio, November 7, 1873, to John W. and Sarah Ann Billiter Bowman. He married Anna Kiefer in Aug 25, 1913. The wife is dead.
Mr. Bowman was graduated from Huntington High School in 1893. He was employed for many years on the interurban line between Huntington and Fort Wayne. He moved to Fort Wayne 13 years ago. Mr. Bowman retired four years ago. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias there.
Surviving are a brother, Harry O. Bowman, and a sister, Miss Edith Bowman, this city.
The body was brought to the Bailey funeral home where friends may call.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday (21 Nov 1945) at the Bailey chapel with the Rev. H. M. Rhodes officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. Etna.

Music was by Mary Bailey at the organ.
Flowerbearers were Mrs. Emma Crider, Mrs. Florence Gamble, Mrs. Robert Colgan and Mrs. Ira Keiser.
Pallbearers were Charles Nifer, Dr. O.U. King, Charles Schenkel, William Sharp, Ira Keiser and Pearl Van Dine.
Burial was at Mr. Etna.
