of Morris, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at The Green Home on Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, after battling from injuries suffered in a farming accident at his home on June 21, 2014.
Born on April 25, 1930, in Antrim, Pa., he was the son of the late Benjamin D. and Hazel (House) Kreger, of Morris.
Robert was retired after 35 years with the Commonwealth Telephone Company.
He was a former board member of the Southern Tioga School District for many years and he was active with the Morris VFD, especially with the tractor pull and talent show.
He led a very active life and enjoyed camping, spending time with his family, taking care of his horses and farming.
Robert is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law,
Stephen and Catherine Kreger, of Morris,
Leonard and Cata Kreger, of Liberty;
his daughter and son-in-law,
Marcie and Dan Dinnison of Wellsboro;
his brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Susan Kreger, of Morris;
nine grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by his former wife and lifelong friend, Dorothy (Alexander) Kreger, of Wellsboro and friend, Joann Davis, of Mansfield.
Robert was preceded in death by twin sons, Joseph and John; sister, Jean Cooper; and grandson, Lenny Winters.
