Gen. W.A. Robards, Attorney General of the State, died of cholera, in Jefferson City on the 3d inst. Gen. R. had been Attorney General during the administration of Governor King, and discharged the duties of office with fidelity to the State and credit to himself. He was about 35 years of age and was universally esteemed by all who knew him. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his sudden death and a large circle of relations and friends. He was a Kentuckian by birth we believe, but had resided for many years in Boone county, where his aged parents still reside. His wife is the daughter of the venerable Mr. Neilson, Post master of New Franklin, in this county.
