Barbara Ann Harrison Crowson, age 77, of Killen, Alabama passed peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday August 21. Visitation will be Saturday August 23, at Elkins East Chapel from 10:00am till 11:30am. Services will follow in the chapel at 11:30am with Brother Bryan McIntyre officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur.

Mrs. Crowson leaves her husband of 60 years, two daughters, Frances Ann Hill of Moulton and Vicki Lynn Irons of Huntsville, four grandchildren and three great
grandchildren.

Mrs. Crowson, a native of Decatur, Alabama and her husband, William Lloyd Crowson, have resided in Killen, Alabama since 1983, relocating from Washington, DC. Prior to that the family moved worldwide with various military assignments, spending a number of memorable years in Germany. Mrs.Crowson loved travel and adventure. She and her husband were usually on travel domestically with their recreational vehicle, or internationally with cruises and group tours.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Ricketts, Larry Ricketts, Scott Cooper, Carl Gebhardt, David Loveless and Morris Killen

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to the Killen United Methodist Church Building Fund, 201 J.C. Mauldin Highway, Killen, AL 35645
