d/o Samuel G. & Nancy Anne Eppes Meredith of King&Queen Co., Virginia and sister of Unity Meredith who married Abraham Abney's brother George Abney.

Cassandra's sister Elizabeth Meredith (1715-1770) is said to have married Capt. John Collins (1707-1765) who will later tie into Cassandra's daughter in law, Lucy Collins.

Cenotaph/Memorial for Cassandra Abney. Birth date on marker should be 1710 and R.R. Abney states she may have been buried in Edgefield Co., SC, possibly with daughter-in-law Lucy Abney some time after 1790 since she was enumerated on the Edgefield Co. census with Lucy. So, the death date is in error also.
