Doris R. Friar age 95 of Woodman passed away on Tuesday August 19, 2014 at the Lancaster Care Center in Lancaster Wisconsin.
She was born in Bloomington Township Grant County Wisconsin. The daughter of Frank and Esther (Taylor) Vogt. She married Paul M. Friar on July 7, 1941 in Plain Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on November 16, 1977.
She is survived by three sons; Frank (Judy) Friar of Baraboo, Thomas (Judy) Friar of Lancaster, Michael (Lisa) Friar of Boscobel . Two daughters; Rachael (Darrel) Feakes of Franklin Wi. Susan (Michael) Gehn of Oregon Wi. 15 Grandchildren 13 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter Carrie Friar, a brother Alvin Vogt and a sister Eileen Walker.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday August 23, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Lawrence O'Toole Catholic Church in rural Mt. Hope.
Friends may call on Friday August 22, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to Woodman First Responders, Boscobel Rescue Squad, or the St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery Trust.
