Mrs. Voltarine H. Cantrill, 86, of 1428 S. Fourth St. died at 5:20 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Springfield, Mrs. Cantrill was the daughter of Frederic and Pauline Gerard Maisenbacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Lee, in 1948; and a son, Herbert Lee Jr., in 1966. Formerly employed at Myers Brothers, Mrs. Cantrill was a member of First Presbyterian Church and past matron and member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are three grandchildren, Dr. Herbert Lee Cantrill III of Minneapolis, Minn., Thomas Cantrill of Dallas, Texas and Susan Haney of Peoria; and six great-grandchildren.

Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Miss Maisenbacher is Hostess.

Miss Voltairine Maisenbacher entertained a number of her friends at a Valentine party last evening at the residence, 1215 North Sixth street. The evening was spent in the enjoyment of games appropriate for a valentine party and in music and dancing. The house was decorated in hearts, valentines and cut flowers.

Miss Maisenbacher Entertains.

One of the prettiest social events ever given at the Lincoln Inn was held last evening when Miss Volterine Maisenbacher of 1215 North Sixth street, entertained a number of friends the occasion being her eighteenth birthday anniversary.

The affair was to be held at the residence of the hostess, but was changed to the Inn on account of the illness of Miss Mae Maisenbacher. The Inn was artistically decorated for the occasion with roses and leaves.

The evening was enjoyed in games and dancing, and solos were rendered during the evening by the Misses Susie Mae Anderson, Kathryn Burke, Harry Stillman. Piano solos were given by Miss Bertha Bernard. Misses Kathryn Foley, Louise Irvine and Rose Mueller acted as chaperones. After a series of fine dances, musical selections and solos delicious refreshments were served.
