He retired from the United States Air Force after serving his country for 24 years in 1984 and enjoyed working in his yard and his garden. Tom also loved OU sports as well as the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Tom is survived by his wife, one sister, two sons, two daughters-in-law, three grandchildren and many Air Force Friends and Family.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Bryan Lee Hayes and one brother.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Bill Eisenhour S.E. Chapel with interment to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
