John A Brewster 48 of 231 Croydon road, died yesterday after a long illness in Kings bridge veterans hospital in the Bronx. He had been employed in construction work as a blaster before becoming ill about a year ago.
Born in Yonkers July 30, 1915, he was the son of Mrs. Katherine Butler of Nanuet, NY and the late James F. Brewster. Mr Brewster attended St Barnabas School and was along time communicate of St Barnabas Church.
He is survived by his wife the former Lucille Labarbera, a son John Charles and a daughter Barbara Jean of the Yonkers NY; two brothers James of 66 Alexander Ave and Harold of Stormville, NY; two sisters, Mrs Kathleen Cammarano of Wildwood Crest , NJ and Mrs. Joan Weaver of Nanuet, NY another brother Timothy died several years ago.
