Mrs. Anna Schneider

Miss Anna Pauline Gabel was born in Baden, Germany, Jan. 31, 1842, and died in Salem, S. D., April 4, 1915. She came to America with her brothers when she was twenty-five years old and was married to Mr. George Schneider forty-eight years ago in Chicago, Ill.

Her husband, two sons and one daughter, have preceded her to the Great Beyond.

For the last fifteen years she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Ben Fendrich here in Salem. She was of a kindly, social nature, well liked by those who knew her.

She leaves to mourn her loss one son, Mr. Henry Schneider, of Greenville, Iowa, and one daughter, Mrs. Ben Fendrich of Salem, and four little grandchildren of whom she was very fond, also two brothers residing in Chicago. Funeral services were held in the Catholic church Wednesday morning and she was laid to rest in St. Mary's cemetery.
