Henry S. Vosburgh, 71, McKinley Road, Town of Palatine, died Tuesday afternoon in Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, after a long illness.
He was born April 22, 1908, in the Town of Canajoharie, the son of John and Lillian Dingman Vosburgh. He was employed by Traudt's Florist and later by the former Beech-Nut Packing Company and its successor companies from 1942 until he retired in 1973.
Survivors include his widow, Hazel Vosburgh, Palatine Bridge; a daughter, Clara Vosburgh, also of Palatine Bridge; a brother, George Vosburgh, Nelliston, a sister, Mrs. Minnie Mead, Amsterdam; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held at the Lenz Funeral Home Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Theodore E. Hammer, pastor of St. John's and St. Mark's Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment was made in the Fort Plain Cemetery.
