Edward Francis Albert, age 66, of Evansville, Indiana, died at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at VNA Charlier Hospice Center.

He was born in Schenectady, N.Y., on June 23, 1937. While working in sales in Indiana, he met and married his wife of 22 years, Cynthia Lee Barnhart. He attended USI and was a Navy veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Oak Hill Christian Center, active in Boy Scout Troop No. 318, a member of the American Legion and the VFW Post in Rockville, Ind. He was a loving husband and father who will be missed by family and friends.

He is also survived by 2 daughters, Dawn Albert of Wyandotte, Michigan, and Catherine Albert of Evansville, IN; and one son, Christopher L. Albert of Evansville, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 2004, at Oak Hill Christian Center, 4901 Oak Hill Road, with Reverend Randy Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Rockville Memorial Gardens in Rockville, Indiana.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2004, at Boone Funeral Home, East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home.
