Mrs Mary Arbaugh, widow of James Arbaugh, died on Wednesday afternoon, May 4th, 1921, at her home on Muddy Creek Mountain. She would have been 74 years old if she had lived until June 10th next. Mrs Arbaugh was a very active woman until she was stricken with paralysis two years ago and was always ready to help those in her community who needed assistance. Sh was the mother of 17 children, 13 of whom survive her, along with 51 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, her direct descendants numbering 81. Contributor: FG# 48825891.
