Jeffrey W. Ommert, Funeral services for Jeffrey W. Ommert, 48, of 5594 Roxbury Road, Shippensburg, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Mongul United Brethren Church, 4262 Roxbury Road, Shippensburg. He died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, in Carlisle Regional Medical Center.

Born March 3, 1954, in Chambersburg, he was a son of Mary C. (Bender) Ommert, with whom he resided, and the late Wayne H. Ommert, who died May 8, 2002.

He was employed by Occupational Services Inc. in Chambersburg.

He was a member of the Mongul United Brethren Church in Shippensburg, and the Faithful Servants Sunday school class. He was a former member of the Pleasant Hall Volunteer Fire Co., was musically inclined, and enjoyed listening to music from the 1950s and 1960s.

Mr. Ommert is survived by his mother; a brother, David L. of Shippensburg; a sister, Lisa J. Ryan of Phoenixville; four nieces; a nephew; two great-nephews; and a great-niece.
