Robert Wayne Pickett
Robert (Bob) Pickett, 55, passed away April 24, 2003.
He was born Aug. 2, 1947, in Akron, where he worked for Alside for 18 years. A 1965 Stow High School graduate, he later attended and graduated from the University of Akron. He served in the Marines, doing two tours in Vietnam. Bob enjoyed many years as Coach Pickett for the Little black Tigers, and was a member of Tallmadge Lutheran Church. He fought a courageous battle against A.L.S. (Lou Gehrig's Disease) for the past five years.
Memorials may be made to A.L.S. Foundation Hospice or one's favorite charity.
