Jacob Tisler, 84, retired farmer who resided at Menchalville for the last 38 years, died at his home Thursday afternoon after being ill three months.
He was born in the town of Cooperstown May 1, 1857 and in 1877 married Miss Theresa Marek. They operated a farm in the town of Franklin until 1903 when they retired and moved to Menchalville.
Beside the widow, survivors are one son, Matt, of Manitowoc; one daughter, Mrs. Charles Reindl, town of Franklin; one brother, Joseph of Franklin; 21 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at the Husar funeral home from 6 o'clock tonight until the hour of the funeral. Services will be held Monday morning at 9:15 o'clock at the funeral home and at 9:30 o'clock at St. Joseph's church, Kellnersville, with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
