At age 19 he joined the Navy 91st Seebees (CB's) during World War II and served three years in the Philippines and Australia. In 1949 he married Dolores Bellante and together had four children.

Nick passed away quietly in his sleep with his loving family around him. Born in Los Angeles, then known as "Watts", he graduated from Inglewood High School and attended Sheet Metal Trade School. At age 19 he joined the Navy 91st Seebees (CB's) during WWII and served 3 years in the Philippines and Australia. In 1949 he married the love of his life, Dolores Bellante and together had 4 children.
Nick enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. His favorite events were big family dinners prepared by his wife Dolores and family while Italian music played in the background. He always looked forward to the Italian Catholic Federation (ICF) functions which depicted his Italian heritage. The dedication and love for his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family and friends will live on in the hearts of all of us.
