Mrs. Alex Crawford died at her home a few miles north of town on last Tuesday evening after a brief illness. Deceased was a daughter of the late Hugh N. Caldwell and was about forty-eight years of age. She is survived by her husband and several children. The remains were interred Thursday in the Crawford graveyard near town. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved ones.
