Ervin "Andy" Anderson, 79, Moses Lake resident passed away Friday, September 3, 2010, at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA, with family at his side. Private graveside services were held, September 8th, 2010 at Mountain View Cemetery in Walla Walla, WA. .
Andy was born on December 3, 1930 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. He was born to Axel and Alma Anderson, and was the last surviving sibling of the family. He graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1948. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1951 and served during the Korean War at Fort Lee, Virginia. In June 1951, he married his best friend and the love of his life, Beverly Schmidt in Walla Walla, WA. He worked for the ITT Continental Baking Company for 35 years delivering "Twinkies". He was a member of the VFW and the Elks Club for many years. Andy enjoyed golf, camping, the Seattle Mariners and the Gonzaga Bulldogs. He was a loving father and husband and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Beverly Anderson and his children daughter Barbara (Ed) Darwood of Ephrata, WA, his son David Anderson of Pasco, WA and his daughter Carol Anderson (Scott Coombs) of Moses Lake, WA, his grandchildren Amy (Rob Harris), Jason Anderson, Conner Anderson Coombs and great grandchildren, Veronica, Gracie, Anna, Merijha and Matthew Harris and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Earl and Larry Anderson and his sister Ethel Anderson and his grandson Bryan Ferguson. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of your choice.
