Mrs. Vivian Raburn, 79, of Villanow, GA, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Raburn and mother, Renay Bailey. She was born in Villanow, GA and was a retired switchboard operator for Hamilton Medical Center. Vivian was most recently retired from the Dalton Public School System and was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church of Rocky Face. Vivian is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Joe Raburn (Carole), Ricky Raburn, David Raburn (Sherrie), Mark Raburn (Shelly), and Bud Raburn all of Villanow; daughter, Gail Raburn of Villanow; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donnie Bailey (Jane), Alvin Bailey (Sue), Wayne Bailey (Juanita), and Bill Bailey (Mildred) all of Villanow; sisters and brother-in-law, Debbie Gray (Frog) and Barbara Henderson (Stevie) all of Dalton; sister-in-law, Oma Gene Raburn of Dalton; grandchildren, Jonathan Raburn (Meghan), Justin Raburn, Cody Raburn, Jacob Raburn, Mark Raburn Jr., Shane Raburn, Holli Raburn, and Bailey Raburn; great-grandchild, Braden Raburn. Nieces, nephews, cousins, and special neighbors and friends also survive. The family would like to especially thank Dr. William Whaley and staff of Blue Ridge, GA, Lakeside Baptist Church of Rocky Face, GA, Junior Williams and New Beginning of Reo, GA, Debbie, Juanita, Tiffany, Rosa and Jennifer. Funeral services for Vivian will be at 11 AM Saturday, August 30, at Lakeside Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Painter, Rev. Junior Williams, and Rev. Scott Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow in White Cemetery in Villanow, GA. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 until 9 at Love Funeral Home.
