He was born Oct. 11, 1908, in Tuscumbia, a son of Samuel and Elizabeth Bear Adcock. He was married April 2, 1932, in Tuscumbia to Edna Abbott, who survives at the home.
He was a Tuscumbia resident most of his life. He and Edna owned and operated the Southside grocery store, Tuscumbia.
Survived by wife Edna; son, Howard Adcock; daughter, Patsy Wickham; and 4 grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his daughter, Betty Lou Adcock.
Services will be at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Gene Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Tuscumbia Cemetery.
