Mrs. Edith (Hateway) [(Hatheway)] Abbe, 96, of Boynton Beach, Fla., formerly of Longmeadow and Suffield, Conn., died Tuesday [11 Nov 1975] in Boynton Beach, Fla. She was the widow of Earle [Earl] C. Abbe, former vice president of the Moore Co. [Moore Drop Forging Co.], Springfield. She was a member of Unity Church of West Palm Beach, Fla. She leaves a son Earle [Earl] H. of Boynton Beach, Fla. and Newberry [Newbury], N.H.; four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday morning [15 Nov 1975] at the Dickinson-Streeter funeral home. Burial will be in Grove cemetery, Windsor Locks, Conn.

She attended the Unity Church, West Palm Beach. Survived by one son, Earl H. Abbe of Boynton Beach; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Scobee Combs Funeral Home Boynton Beach, Wednesday 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in Springfield, Mass.
