Eva L. Camp, 95, of Ashtabula Township, Ohio, formerly of New Kensington, died Tuesday (Oct. 30, 2001) at the Austinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Ohio, where she was a patient for 2 years. Born May 21, 1906, in Roscoe Village, Ohio, she lived in New Kensington most of her life. She moved to Ashtabula Township in 1993. Mrs. Camp was a member of the former First Baptist Church, New Kensington. She enjoyed crocheting afghans and spending time with her family. Survivors include a son, H. Raymond Camp of Beaver Falls; a daughter with whom she lived, Virginia P. Johns of Ashtabula Township; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and six great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard C. Camp; her parents, David and Elizabeth Phillips Freshwater; a brother, Harry Freshwater; and five sisters, Mary Kennedy, Ida O'Toole, Pearl Carnes, Hazel Linebaugh and Mearl Telthorster. Visitation and services are set for tonight in Jefferson, Ohio. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
