Death Claims Mrs. Huckaby
Native of Kentucky Dies at Home of Daughter here
Funeral Friday
Mrs. Matilda Evelyn Huckaby, 81, widow of the late Michael Huckaby, died suddenly at 3:45 o'clock this morning at the home of a daughter, where she had been residing for the past five years.
Funeral services have been set for 10:30 o'clock Friday morning at the Barkes and Fox funeral home on North Washington Street. Burial will be made at Garland Brook Cemetery. The casket will be open at the funeral home after noon Thursday until time of the services Friday.
Mrs. Huckaby was born and had lived most of her life in Kentucky before coming here to make her home with the daughter. Her husband died in 1928.
She was a member of the United Baptist church at Big Springs, Kentucky.
