Marlin Anthony "Amp" Abercrombie, 37, of Dalton, passed away at his home on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marlin Luther Abercrombie, and a brother, Gary Lee Lewis.
Mr. Abercrombie is survived by his mother, Carolyn Abercrombie of Dalton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Darrell Gladden of Crandall, and Kim and Mike Gladden of Chatsworth; nieces and nephews, Amber Martin of Chatsworth, Derek and Beth Martin of Eton, Brittney and Zach Miller of Dalton, and Cory Gladden of Crandall; girlfriend, Audrey Silvers of Dalton; other survivors, including Kinley Head and Adison Anderson; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
The funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Abercrombie will be on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Dr. Danny Cochran officiating.
Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from noon until the service hour at 3 p.m.
