On Sunday, August 24, 2014, Byron Adrian Acuff of Gaithersburg, MD. He was the beloved husband of 47 years to Rose Acuff. Loving father of Kelly Ford and her husband Glenn, Clarksburg, MD, Katie Belissary and her husband Charlie, Myrtle Beach, SC and Kim Cullop and her husband Mike, Mt. Airy, MD; adoring grandfather of five and great-grandfather of one; dear brother of Donna Pryor, Knoxville, TN and the late Jack Acuff. Many loving nieces, nephews, friends and his dog Kiwi also leave him. Friends may call at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 E. Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20877 on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 9000 Warfield Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20882 on Friday, August 29 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in All Souls Cemetery, Germantown, MD. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 E. Ohio Street, Suite 304, Chicago, IL 60611.
