Ryan Michael Lesher of Churchville passed away unexpectedly on August 30, 2014. He was 15.

Born in Meadowbrook he was the loving son of Edward D. and Lisa Ross Lesher.

Ryan was set to embark on his sophomore year as a student at Council Rock High School South where he excelled both academically and athletically. He was awarded Business Student of the Month and achieved distinguished honor roll status. Ryan played Soccer and Basketball, and served as a Co-Captain of the CR South Basketball team in 9th grade. In addition he was slated to be a Co-Captain of the FC Bucks Club Soccer Team for the 2014-2015 season. He also played for the Rebels Basketball Academy. Prior to attending Council Rock South, Ryan was a student at Richboro Middle School and Maureen M. Welch Elementary.

An all-around sports enthusiast, Ryan loved participating (and winning) in Fantasy Football, Baseball, and Basketball. He was a contender in multiple fantasy leagues. Ryan also loved spending time in the mountains boating, tubing and riding in the golf cart.

School and athletics kept Ryan busy but he still found time to selflessly volunteer working with Athletes Helping Athletes, Special Olympics, Buddy Club and Camp Invention.

Ryan possessed a zest for life that was contagious. He will be sorely missed by all who came to know and love him.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his brothers, Edward, Jr., Justin, and Christopher Lesher; his maternal grandparents Frank and Doris Ross, his paternal grandfather John G. Lesher as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Elizabeth Lesher.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings Thursday September 4, 2014 from 5-9 PM and Friday September 5th, from 9:30-10:30 AM at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 820 Almshouse Rd., Ivyland, PA 18974 where his funeral service will take place at 10:30 AM.
