BLANDFORD - William Harry "Riggs," of Louisville, born February 14, 1926, passed away Friday, March 3, 2006, at his home surrounded by his family. He is a retired plumber from International Harvester and he was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, St. John Vianey Catholic Church and St. Thomas More Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret Kelty Blandford; children, Kenneth (Pat), Carol Ford, Steven, Sheila, David (Sandy), and Susan Diemer (Darryl); a brother, Joe Blandford; a sister, Rose Cusick; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial is at 10 a.m. on Monday at his church, 6105 S. Third St., with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at J. E. Ratterman & Son Funeral Home, 7330 Southside Dr. Expressions may go to Hospice of Louisville.
