Dennis Earl Jones, 35, of Miami, Oklahoma, left this earth and was received into the arms of God, never to suffer again. Dennis passed away at his home with his family at his side, following a long battle with complications of diabetes.

He was born in Providence, Kentucky. He was raised in southeast Kansas and attended area schools. He graduated from Girard High School in Girard, Kansas. He also attended Vo-Tech school in Columbus, Kansas. He moved to Miami, Oklahoma 5 years ago.

Dennis worked for several years in Columbus, Kansas, as an EMT for the Cherokee County Ambulance Association.

Dennis is survived by his mother, Linda Jones of Miami, Oklahoma, his brother, Jeff Jones of Springfield, Mo.
His maternal grandmother, Margie Hamilton of Columbus, Ks., and his fiance' Dana Peyette of Miami, Okla. Aunt Janice Leeper of Joplin, Mo., two uncles, John Jeffrey and wife Barbara of McCune, Kansas, and Jimmy Hamilton and wife Jacque of Hallowell, Ks., and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Johnnie Hamilton, and his paternal grandparents, Harold and Evelyn Jones and one uncle, Charlie Jeffrey.

Dennis was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 7. Some of his favorite activities were hunting and fishing. In living he touched many lives and in the end life's final victory was his.

Dennis you are loved and will be missed by your family and friends.
