Harry C. Ugard, 88, formerly of 9 Swiss St., died Thursday, March 4, 1976, at the Grandview Extendicare nursing home after an extended illness. Born Aug. 27, 1888, in Germany, he moved to Warren in 1890 and lived here most of his life. He was a lead burner by trade and was formerly a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William (Coilla Mae) "Sis" Galton, St. Petersburg, Fla.; a son, Charles J. Ugard, Silver Hill, MD; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a brother, John Ugard, Warren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vida Strickland Ugard; by his parents, Joseph and Ernestina Ugard; and two sisters, Amelia and Ann.
No visitation hours are to be observed and burial will be at the convenience of the family. The Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home is in charge of final arrangements.
