Mrs. August J. W. Koehler, 48, died on Monday at her home in
Uehling. She married August J. W. Koehler on June 11, 1910 at
Fremont. They had 3 children; Mrs. Ivan Wedergren (Bernice)
Uehling, Jack, in the Navy and Shirley Mae. Death was the result
of suicide by hanging. Buried - Baptist cemetery, Uehling, NE.

Uehling Lady Death Victim

Funeral held Wednesday-Woman is Suicide After Nervous Ailment.

Mrs. August J. W. Koehler died at her home in Uehling Monday
morning at the age of 48 years. Her death was the result of suicide
by hanging. Mrs. Koehler had returned home the previous Saturday
from a hospital in Lincoln where she had been receiving treatment
for a nervous ailment.

Minnie Larson was united in marriage to August J. W. Koehler June
11, 1910, at Fremont. To this union three children were born, Mrs.
Ivan Wedergren of Uehling. Jack of the Great Lakes Naval Training
Camp, and Shirley Mae. Besides her husband and chil dren, she
leaves two sisters, Mrs.. Carl Cammerer of North Bend and Mrs. Bert
Woodruff of Julesburg, Colo., and three brothers, Dan Larson of
Fremont, Andrew and Harvey Larson of Hooper.

Before her illness, Mrs. Koehler took and active part in the life
of the community, where she had formed many friendships, She was a
devoted and loving wife and mother.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the
home and at 2:00 p.m. from the Congregational church in Uehling,
the pastor, Mrs. Derelle Barber, officiating. Burial was made in
the Baptist cemetery, south of Uehling.
