Mrs. Geraldine Olson, age 78, of Uehling, passed away Saturday
afternoon, February 13 at the Oakland Heights Nursing Home at
Oakland following a brief illness.
The daughter of Eric and Hilda Olson, she was born at rural Uehling
on January 6, 1904 and had lived her entire lifetime in the Uehling
area. She was a member of the First Congregational Church U.C.C. of
Uehling, the Women's Fellowship of the Church and the American
Legion Auxiliary of Post 196 of Uehling. She was united in marriage
to Harry W. Olson on Oct. 7, 1931 at Fremont. He preceded her in
death on November 30, 1977.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Sharon) Landholm of
Uehling; three grandchildren, Lynden, Lon and Michelle Landholm;
one brother, Howard of Uehling. Also preceding her in death were
her parents and one sister, Evelyn.
Funeral services were held at the First Congregational Church
U.C.C. of Uehling on Tuesday, February 16th, Rev. Hiram Lilley
officiating. Interment was in the Baptist Cemetery with Warne
Funeral Home in direction. Music for the service was provided by
Mrs. Russell Uehling, organist and a duet composed of Mrs Clell
Warren and Mrs. Raymond Wedergren. Pallbearers were Charles
Erickson, Lynden Landholm, Lon Landholm, Michelle Landholm, Ted
Longe, James Realph and Clell Warren
