The Indiana, Marriage Index, 1800-1941 states Newton Berry married Jennett Copeland on 13 Aug 1861 in Henry County, Indiana.

I haven't located an 1870, or 1880 Census for him yet. I also haven't located a DOD.

According to the Indiana, Compiled Marriages, 1802-1850 database, his father David Berry Jr (shown as born in New Jersey in the U.S. and International Marriage Records, 1560-1900 database) married his mother Sarah Nutter in Union County, Indiana on 18 Jul 1823.
