VAN BUREN – Rosaire J. Boutot, 86, died peacefully Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at a Caribou hospital. He was born March 29, 1928 in St. Anne, NB, Canada, a son of the late Willie and Delia (Voisine) Boutot.

Early on, he worked on many local farms doing handiwork and then worked as a mason with Ouellette Construction for over 33 years. Rosaire was a parishioner of St. Bruno-St. Remi Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He also was a member and rider with the Van Buren ATV club. He was an avid gardener and took great joy in sharing his vegetables. Overall, he loved having company visit and never shied away from a good game of cards.

He is survived by: his wife of almost 65 years, Yvonne (Dube) Boutot; four children, Carline Dube and her husband, Gaetan of Glenburn, Clarence Boutot and his wife, Carmen of Van Buren, Norman Boutot and his wife, Rachel of Coventry, CT, and Alan Boutot and his wife, Patty of Lisbon Falls; one sister, Bernice Doiron St. Anne, NB, Canada; six grandchildren, Tom, Don, Tammy, Shawn, Nicole & Nicholas; eight great-grandchildren, Taylor, Kyle, Jason, Ashley, Dominick, Cierra, Eliza & Emma; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Rosaire is predeceased by three sisters, Rose and Edwidge Damboise and Marie Parent and three brothers, Leonard, Maxime, and Artie Boutot.

Burial will be in Grande Riviere Cemetery, Van Buren.
