A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 5 at Bishop Chapel of Memories with Rev. James Crowson officiating. Inurnment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Hartshorne at a later date. Service arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service.
Born June 24, 1942 at Greenwood, Arkansas, she graduated from Haileyville High School and attended Eastern Oklahoma State College and South Eastern Oklahoma State University. She was a homemaker and loved to be with her grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, one son-in-law, two grandchildren, two brothers, one sister-in-law, two sisters, ex-husband, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Alma Zelnick, father: Smiley Zelnick, brothers: Donald Peoples and Nicky Zelnick, sister: Jeanine Burns, and grandson: Richard Neal Bedford, II.
