J. A. Carr died Friday morning at St. Gabriel's hospital, of diabetes, aged 46 years. Deceased had been ailing for some months and has been at the hospital about four weeks. He had lived here alone, his family having moved to Ohio some time ago. The funeral services were held Friday, Rev. Farrell officiating, and the remains were interred in Oakland.
