ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mrs. Elizabeth Pierce Marmor, 63, of Rock Hill, S.C., formerly of Plattsburgh, died Friday in Rock Hill Nursing Home.
Mrs. Marmor was born in Plattsburgh April 28, 1912, the daughter of Congressman Wallace E. Pierce and Elizabeth Kirke-Cavanna Pierce.
Mrs. Marmor had lived in Plattsburgh up until four years ago when she moved to Rock Hill. She graduated from Masters School at Dobbs Ferry and attended Vassar College, Barnard College and the University of Chicago.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert A. (Elizabeth) Edgerton of Rock Hill, S.C.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the family lot at Riverside Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
