Born in Littleton to George Webster and Charlotte (Tuttle) Sanderson. She went to school in Littleton and at Lawrence Academy (Groton, MA) and the New England Conservatory of Music. She served as a public school teacher and as a private music teacher. She married Arthur F. Blanchard and lived in West Acton for 45 years. She was committed to many organizations including the West Acton Women's Club (charter member), the DAR, the Congregational Church, and the Girl Scouts. She was survived by her husband and son Webster Sanderson Blanchard.
