Mrs. Baker was a member of the American Rose Society, the Greater Columbia Rose Society, and the S.C. Rose Society for over 30 years. She served on various rose society committees, and was an accredited rose judge and consulting rosarian for 20 plus years, and had personally won many local and national awards in rose shows. Mrs. Baker had a wonderful gift of growing, showing, and sharing beautiful roses, especially her miniature rose bushes.
She was a member of Wesley Memorial UMC for 53 years and was active at Forest Pines Retirement Community since moving there two years ago.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Elizabeth Kelehear LaPorte and Amy Leon Kelehear.
