Mr. Adkins died Saturday, January 15, 2005 at his residence. Born in Dixianna, SC, he was the son of the late William Oscar Adkins and Minnie Lee Austin Adkins . He was a veteran of the US Navy in which he served during WWII. Mr. Adkins was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in West Columbia, SC and he also retired from Tamper, a division of Atlantic Steel.
