Dorothy Ellen Arnold, 80 of Jefferson City, died Thursday, May 14, 1998 at Oak Tree Villas Retirement Center. She was born February 14, 1918 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of Adron A. and Mary Wall Williams. She was a graduate of Reading High School in Reading, Kansas, and attended
Iberia Junior College in Iberia, Missouri.

She was married in March 1938 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Dorsey Edward Arnold, who preceded her in death in April 1980.

She is survived by two daughters: Nancy Thompson of Gladstone, Missouri; Jeanne Rutledge of Jefferson City; one son, Jim Arnold of Gladstone, Missouri; one sister, Linda Colvin of Brumley, Missouri; two brothers: Donald Williams of Lake Ozark; Jerry Williams of Lake Ozark; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors - Jefferson City Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 1998 at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors - Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. John Hobratschk
officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Salvation Army. Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Directors
