Lewis H. Delpy, San Rafael resident for the past 20 years and a San Francisco tow boat captain, died yesterday in a San Francisco hospital following a long illness. A native of West Port, CA, he was 67 years old.
Delpy had made his home at 211 Tiburon Boulevard in San Rafael's Bret Harte Heights district. He had been in the boat operating business for about 45 years, and was a member of Marine Engineers Benevolent Association No. 97.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mildred M. Delpy of San Rafael and San Francisco.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow from the Memorial Chapels of Russell and Gooch, Mill Valley. Burial will be in Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.
